Haven Early Reading Options LLC is a Literacy Center providing 1:1 literacy tutoring services to children from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.*

We provide structured literacy instruction based on the Orton-Gillingham approach to increase student skills and confidence.

* Older students accepted on a case by case basis.

  • For students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.*

    50 minute sessions using the Orton-Gillingham approach, individualized to meet your child’s unique needs. Instruction may address development of skills in the following areas:

    • phonemic awareness

    • phonics and decoding

    • spelling

    • vocabulary

    • morphology

    • fluency

    • comprehension

    • writing .

      *Older students accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  • Shorter sessions to help young learners build and develop oral language skills, phonological awareness, and understanding of concepts about print.

  • Story Times -for young learners. Focusing on oral language, vocabulary building, and comprehension

    Morphology lessons -for older students concentrating on affixes, Latin, and Greek bases.
